The Russian/Israeli virtuoso guitarist, composer and producer of the international progressive metal band “Seventh Station” Dmitri Alperovich has just finished writing the second album of his band and ready to share it worldwide. Born in Minsk, Belarus, to a musical family and was surrounded by instruments from young age. His journey from becoming one of the most skilled musicians today has passed through many countries. In the age of 4, he moved to Israel and started to play keyboards at the age of 8 and was a notable student. His interest in writing began at the same time and he was composing melodies and writing lyrics. Started to play the classical guitar at the age of 12 and was sent to a music school which he graduated in the age of 17 with the highest score in the country. During his studying period he was participating in countless concerts and recitals playing his own compositions as well. At the age of 17 he released his first EP including his own compositions and other works from composers such as Francisco Tarrega, Gaspar Sanz etc. After Graduating the “Rubin” Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem, he formed “Seventh Station” band and started to focus on electric guitar and on finding a way how to combine his classical knowledge into a rock n’ roll band. Dmitri was producing many bands over the years and was recording guitar parts to bands in different projects. He made a huge tribute shows to bands such as Pink Floyd, Gary Moore etc. In the chase of finding the best musicians in the world to play his music he found Dream Theater’s arranger and conductor, the young talent Eren Basbug and moved to United States in order to continue the band’s work there. The Band’s debut album was released in 2016 and got great reviews around the globe. Currently he is preparing for the next release of the band and the upcoming tours.
